So what do I do when Ryan says, "I just got assigned to work in California for 5 weeks, I leave on Monday".
Well, I sort of freak out. I start worrying about the long days and nights with no break from the kids or the ability to get anything accomplished for an entire month.

So instead of staying at home, we packed up the car, and "moved" to Redwood City, CA for 4 weeks.
Ryan spent the 1st week here, working, and trying to see if we could find a place to stay. Once we had a place secured, I packed our small car full of everything I could, picked Ryan up at the airport(he flew back to drive up with us), and we left the next day to start a 15 hour drive to northern California.
Here are some pics of our temporary home: a two bedroom apartment, about 20 miles south of San Francisco.
Now that we're here, we are able to be very spontaneous! (It's like therapy for me). We have no plans or commitments, having lots of fun on our very long 'vacation'.
I'll post more of our fun!
