Last Sunday we drove across the Bay to the Oakland temple. They have a great visitors center and some great views around the temple grounds.

Ryan had a 4 day weekend, getting both Friday and Monday off for the holiday, so we had some more fun in San Francisco. Our first stop was the Exploratorium Museum. We didn't actually take many pictures inside because we were too busy playing, but they have lots of cool science exhibits to see and play with. This is the view from the outside...isn't it amazing?
After the museum, we drove across the Golden Gate Bridge! The views would have been better if we weren't in the car, but it was still so cool!

Across the Golden Gate Bridge is Muir Woods National Park. They have paths to walk and hike through the beautiful Redwood trees.
Haha. I was a little worried when I saw this sign. Not only were my kids wired after drinking a Slurpee from 7-11, but also because Mabry doesn't really have the best 'quiet mode'. This is the little girl who in church, if you say, "shh, be quiet", replies with, "NO MOM, LOUD!"People didn't really seem to mind, except for the time Mabry decided to yell, "I see a bear"! About 10 people turned around in our direction, and I apologized for the false alarm.
It's been fun to see the girls getting to an age where they can actually play and interact more together. It makes for some sweet moments.

And at the end of the day... we're still wearing them out with all the fun.

How fun! I took 150 7th graders to the Exploratorium this past February. Did the girls love the shadow room? That was the kids favorite. I also love the Oakland visitor center. The view is awesome!
Stacey, I am seriously so jealous of your summer! That is like the coolest thing ever, getting to move to a new city like that for a month!! Everything looks beautiful and exciting---glad you're having such an awesome time!
After you mentioned that you put this on your blog I had to find it! Love the pictures.
